Ancient Mosque City Bagerhat
GENERAL Khan Jahan, sent from Delhi to build an Islamic city in the 15th Century, fought against natural calamities to construct Bagerhat, adorned with a large number of mosques. Sixty Domed Mosque, one of his notable establishments , is now declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
